About Dunshee's

Tucked away down a narrow dirt lane in the historic Eastside, Dunshee’s Casita is located in a quiet adobe compound along with the owner’s house and plenty of parking. With traditional New Mexican features like a kiva fireplace and Talavera tiles and modern amenities like WiF and cable TV, the Casita provides year round romance and serenity.

Dunshee’s is ideally situated just a mile from the bustle of the plaza and a few blocks from the galleries and restaurants of Canyon Road. Proprietor Susan Dunshee, artist, amateur ballroom dancer and long time resident, has been in the hospitality business for over 30 years. Always happy to give directions and candid opinions on where to eat, sightsee, shop and hike she wants to make sure you make the most of your time in New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment. For the traveler who seeks the independence of a separate house combined with the hospitality of the owner on the property, Dunshee’s is your ideal home-away-from- home.
